UNITE Grants
UNITE Project is a EU-FP7 funded coordination action, gathering 5 institutions that are commited in increasing the level of excellence of ICT research across an enlarged Europe by promoting active secondment to research teams and strengthening cooperation in community supported research on Enterprise Interoperability (EI), Enterprise Software Applications (ESA), and the novel research domains of the “Future of the Internet”.
The UNITE project will support Secondment Grants for DoCEIS'12 participants. To be eligible, the candidates must fulfil the following conditions:
- Be a PhD student, citizen of one of the new member states (Bulgaria, Slovenia, Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland and Slovakia). Official prove will be requested when the candidate is selected.
- Paper’s research topic must be within the field of the Future of the Internet
- The paper must be submitted and evaluated according to the DOCEIS’12 procedures and rules.
- Only papers selected for publication and presentation by DOCEIS’12 are eligible to receive the UNITE grant
The selected PhD students will receive an UNITE grants that will help covering the travel, accommodation and registration at DOCEIS’2012. The number of UNITE grants is limited, and to be defined by the UNITE scientific committee according to evaluation score of the paper submitted and the available UNITE budget for DOCEIS’12.
